SCHWARZGEWEHR TRAINING
No matter the situation, only accurate hits count.

Whether you decide to pick up a firearm for sport or self defense, your goal is to place as many rounds on your given target as accurately as possible. Shots fired astray or off the mark in either arena are unacceptable and in truth simply a waste of ammunition. In today’s world, you cannot afford to miss your target should you ever find yourself in a life or death situation. It is my goal to help you learn the fundamentals of what it takes to make your shots count. When you leave my class, you will leave with gained confidence in your abilities as well as the knowledge of what areas you need to work on in order to improve your skill even more.

It is very important, especially for beginners, that you put speed on the back burner. If you want to be good, learn to be consistent. Do every action deliberately, consistently, as smooth as possible. Every action you make, your draw, presentation, reload, shot sequence all should be no faster than you can correctly complete each given set of actions. Speed will come with time. Learning to shoot is very much like building a house; it has to be built on a solid foundation. Accuracy is that foundation. No matter what happens, as long as you know how to correctly press the trigger with every shot and can get accurate hits on demand, you will have a strong base to build on. True skill does not come to a person over night. It does not come without hard work, dedication, time, practice, and most especially without seeking help when needed. If you are here, you are part of the small number of gun owners who realize that just like owning a guitar does not make you a guitarist, owning a gun does not make you a shooter. You are making the right step, a step you will not regret, in seeking out training.

I have trained under many of the big names in the industry today. I have taken away something from most all, but the best program I have found to date to help a person become a better shooter is the Vickers Shooting Method, VSM. I am a strong advocate of accuracy based shooting programs, and Larry Vickers’ program is the best there is. That is why I teach it. It worked for me, it’s worked for countless others like me, as well as the hundreds of men who went through Vickers’ training in the US Army Special Operation Forces.

It will work for you too.
